DAY 01: ARRIVAL AND PROCEED TO MUNNAR
Arrival at the Cochin Airport and meet with all formalities, proceed to Munnar by road. Enroute visit the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Visit the tea gardens and spice plantations. Check in to your resort and enjoy a relaxing stay overnight.
DAY 02: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast start the sightseeing at various spots in Munnar like the Echo Point, Kundala dam, Mattupetty Dam, Eravikulam National Park, Photo point and snap photos in the picturesque locations of tea gardens on the way. Shop for local goods like fresh fruits and spices and tea. Return to your resort for the night.
DAY 03: TRAVEL TO THEKKADY
Checkout from the resort and onward journey to Thekkady. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary where you can go for a boating and watch the wildlife. Visit the spice plantations where you can see the pepper, cardamom and other spices growing. Also visit Gap Road viewpoint and take an elephant ride through the jungle. Overnight stay at the resort.
DAY 04: ONWARD TO ALLEPPEY FOR BACKWATER CRUISE
After morning breakfast and checkout, travel to Alleppey by road for the backwater ride. Check-in to the houseboat by noon for an overnight stay and 22 hour long boat ride experiencing local village life and scintillating nature on the water. Have sumptuous food on board with fresh fish and vegetables.
DAY 05: PROCEED TO AIRPORT FOR DEPARTURE
Onward journey to Cochin International Airport from Alleppey and catch the flight home feeling relaxed and refreshed. Hope you had a fine share of happiness in God’s own country filled with some awesome experiences.
